For 35 years, Ballarat has been Mars' proud home. With 70 staff in 1979, it's now grown to 500 at the Ring Rd site and 100 in sales across Australia. Employing over 1500 locals, Mars has contributed $3 billion to the economy through investment and wages.
The Project
In 2023, MARS Ballarat, a leading confectionary manufacturer, enlisted our expertise as telecommunication specialists for a significant upgrade project. Our task was to transform their vast office processing area from a legacy 3G system to a modern 4G LTE capable system. To ensure seamless coverage throughout the extensive office space and lounge areas of the facility. We identified Nextivity's Quatra solutions as the perfect fit for this complex endeavor. Leveraging our expertise and cutting-edge technology, we embarked on the project to enhance communication reliability and efficiency within MARS Ballarat's operations.
